6 MUST DO THINGS TO DO A DAY BEFORE THE INTERVIEW

Say, you’re going for a cabin crew job interview or an airport interview or a ground staff interview or hotel or hospitality interview
You’re excited for the job and you want to crack the interview anyhow, you are stressed about the interview questions and everything else. There are a few things which you need to keep in mind that helps you to become confident and relaxed for the big day.

  1. Proof check your resume and study it well.
    This is one of the most important tasks because we are humans and we can make mistakes and to be on the safer side it is always recommended to proof read it before handing your resume to the HR team. always carry a hard copy of your resume along with you. Always carry extra copies of your resume. As you may be appearing for a panel interview where more than one person will be taking the interview so in this case you might have to hand over the resume to all the panel members. Remember the interviewer will ask you questions based on your resume. Resume is going to create your first impression.
  2. Thoroughly investigate the job profile
    Whenever you are going for an interview, research about the job roles and responsibilities you will be taking up there as a candidate.
  3. Learn about the AIRLINE/AIRPORT/HOTEL/TRAVEL Organisation
    There may be a possibility, they might ask you a few questions about their company. It is highly recommended to visit the websites, look up the social media handles of any and every firm that you are applying for.
  4. Locate the exact location of the place of interview.
    Always understand the location of the organisation.
    Just like you visit the center of your examinations before hand, location tracking or pinning the location on google maps for the interview is necessary it helps you save a lot of time and reach for the interview on time. By doing so you will know how long will it take you to reach the interview venue as well as save you last minute anxiety.
  5. Follow the dress code as mentioned in the job opening.
    Dressing well and right is essential for any interview especially the aviation and hospitality industry.
    Make sure your outfit is washed, clean and well ironed. Including your shoes, socks and accessories.
  6. Sleep well and relax
    You don’t want to look dull and tired on the big day. Make sure to have 7-8 hours of sleep before the interview.
