Roadmap: how to become a Flight Steward
Step 1
Meet eligibility criteria
Complete 12th pass from any stream. Male candidates need 170cm+ height, 18-26 years age, good eyesight (with or without correction), and no visible tattoos.
Step 2
Enroll in cabin crew training
Join Wings Institute cabin crew program covering safety drills, grooming, in-flight service etiquette, emergency procedures and on-board phraseology on real mock A330 cabin.
Step 3
Complete certifications
Earn certifications in first aid, fire fighting, swimming, Amadeus GDS, ICAO Level 4+ aviation English, and personality development.
Step 4
Apply and clear airline interviews
With Wings placement assistance, attend airline walk-ins and open days at IndiGo, Vistara (Air India), SpiceJet, Akasa Air, Emirates, Qatar Airways and more.
