Vadodara, May 2026 — Wings Institute, India’s in-house Airbus A330 mock-cabin training academy, released the Aviation Jobs by State 2026 heatmap today.
The report joins 551 city-level intelligence records (airport count + airline employer rosters) with Wings alumni placement records to produce a state-by-state aviation employment picture. Cabin-crew and ground-staff placement counts are reported separately so career counsellors can guide candidates by track.
India’s operational airport count has roughly doubled from 74 in 2014 to about 160 in 2024 (Ministry of Civil Aviation / AAI), widening the geographic spread of aviation employment the heatmap tracks.
Both the page and the underlying CSV are released under CC-BY-4.0 with mandatory attribution. The heatmap is intended for inclusion in Google Dataset Search and is updated annually.
