Rate Code

Definition:

Short alphanumeric token inside a PMS that ties a reservation to a published rate, package or corporate contract (e.g. BAR, AAA, COR-TCS, ADV21).

Context & Usage

Rate codes control inclusions, cancellation policy and commission. Front Office and Reservations agents must select the right code per booking source.
