MAC (Mean Aerodynamic Chord)

Definition:

Reference wing chord used to express aircraft centre-of-gravity location as a percentage (e.g. 25% MAC). Core input to the Load & Trim sheet.

Context & Usage

Loadsheet CG must fall between forward and aft MAC limits defined in the aircraft's weight-and-balance manual.
