Definition:

Bureau of Civil Aviation Security — India's aviation security regulator under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Approves AVSEC training organisations and issues statutory clearances to ground handlers and airline operators.

Context & Usage

BCAS revoked Çelebi's security clearance on 15 May 2025, redistributing ground-handling volume to AI-SATS and Bird Group.
